Help me pick a muffler for my duals!
Dynamax 6" round, 3" center in / out muffler
Choice two:
Dynamax 4" casing, 3" bullet muffler
Choice three:
Borla XR1 sportsman, 3" center in / out muffler
The exhaust consists of grot longtubes, dual 3" piping with an X carried over the axles, so clearance is not an issue but weight is. I had the bullets on before but am considering the other two mufflers to quiet down the car some. Borlas cost twice as much as the 6" round ($120 vs $60) but are lighter. Does anyone have any opinions on these muffler choices or a suggestion for another muffler?

<strong>go with either of the bullet mufflers....less of a clearance issue</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I agree. they weigh less too.
That is what i have in my car.
Bullet
6" round
XR1 Sportsman
Wanted something quieter & more compact, so I now run the Edelbrock RPM mufler (Summit/Jegs) it is only 3.6" thick, and 7" wide (smaller in thickness than the bullet) Sound is nice, compares to a 2 or 3 chamber. I an hold a conversation, and hear the radio, but still, when I hammer it, you know there is something there. I also have grotts, to X pipe.
