EGR block-off? what's wrong??
Am I not seeing this right, or am I doing something wrong?
Troy
BTW...I just removed the EGR from the manifold (and the car entirely)

Here's what's going on... the other EGR plate is for on the headers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> and then I got a 1.25 expansion plug and used it in the EGR hole on the manifold.
Thanks for the help guys! (Buschman <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> )

i just found some scrappy metal, sanded it down, rounded the edges, drill some holes and bolted into place. Got some gasket seal gunk from auto store and no leaks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
glad you got it figured out though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I would advise keeping an eye out for a 1 3/8" plug when you get the chance. By the way they specifically tell you not to use any sort of sealant, especially in that area of the engine. I'm sure a little hardened sealant getting sucked up in the intake is not gonna do good things for your enine. The plug itself seals perfectly. I'm sure the 1 1/4" will work fine, but keep an eye open, the 1 3/8"s are hard to find.
