Any aftermarket intake you drop your hard earned cash on the table for SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE RESHAPED AND GRINDED . Product should say

note : we ship these intakes raw castings . we dont care what the port looks like when you recieve your manifold . A grinder should be bought if your dis satisfied .

Have you read through the posts? The guys that have already gotten the intakes dont seem to support your casting views. There are even pictures, so try searching back a few pages before sharing your opinion next time.

I had a aluminum Intake, very bad, would not seal, it was that wonderful weiland. I would shy away from that Intake.

WOW! I just read all this and am going to buy one as soon as the TB comes out. Being new to F-bodies I have one question. Can you tell (while on the car) if you have a LS1 or LS6 manifold? I bought this car a while back and am just getting acclimated to it. Any help would be appreciated. Also how do I put a pic in my sig? Computer noob as well...

Well I'm guessing your car is a 2000... therefore you have the LS1 intake. 1998-2000=LS1 intake, 2001-2002=LS6 intake.
