Default Can someone give me a straight answer

as to why there are a few guys buying up old LS1 intakes?

I don't care for the usual smart-azz answers, I would just like to know why someone would want so many used Ls1 inatkes.

Any infor would be appreciated, as im curious as heck

my thoughts were extrude-honing them, if you have the facilities to do it cheaply. then i would think they COULD outflow a ls6.

I heard one guy on here buys them up and puts them on some kind of off road sand rail or dune buggy type vehicle maybe as an upgrade over the truck intake.

lol. I just tossed a 97 C5 intake in the trach a few weeks ago while helping a friend clean out his garage. I know someone was looking for one to swap onto their GTO before they traded it in.

He was probably selling them as replacements for a profit. They may not be worth much to us on the forum, but I am sure they are worth well over $50 somewhere else.
