Plastic Flap under the front bumper?
Hello yall,
Ever time i want to jack up the front of the car i have to roll the wheels up on some bricks our wood before i can fit a jack under the K member , because of the flap under the bumper.
Does this plastic flap serve a importart purpose? I have thought about just removing the plastic flap, but if it serves a good purpose ill leave it.
Thanks

I'm not sure what this "flap" is but if it looks like a fin that hangs down a bit and the bottom edge of it is scraped it's to help direct air to cool your engine.

Yeah i had my airdamn off one time and drove it for a couple miles, don't remember why I had it off, but to say the least, then engine temp got higher than usual while driving.

That's called "the chin spoiler" BTW.
I built some simple ramps out of 3 2x6's nailed together, each one a little shorter than the one below it. Works great for me. I can drive the car up on them and change the oil without jacking it up, and I'm not the skinniest kid on the block.
