Default ? EGR Manifold block off plate?

I know, I am asking a question that has been asked before, I just can not find it now. Does anyone know where these plates are available from? Or pictures?

As far as the plates for blocking off the "connections" on the headers/manifolds... a lot of sponsors (Speed Inc.) sell the three (2- air and 1-EGR) for about $15-20. For the EGR into the "intake" manifold using an expansion/freeze plug works excellently. I believe I used a 1.25" one. It works great and doesn't look to bad either.

Good luck!

Probably have more luck in the "external engine" area.

Troy

P.S. You might want to double check the size of expansion plug to use 1.25"-1.5"

The item to plug the intake manifold hole is actually a 1 3/8 expandable plug.. I got mine PepBoys.. I also used some JB Weld around the edge to make sure it was air tight

Moving to external engine so you can get some confirmation on this..

All I did was cut the EGR tube flush w/the top of the current mounting plate, then crushed the pipe down to where it was folded over it'self and then filled that area with JB weld and put a thin piece of round tin on top and let it dry. Completely air tight, fits perfect, FREE (If you have the JB weld or like 5bux to buy the JB)

I've been running that way for months now and spraying a TNT 100shot and no problems whatsoever.

Just another Idea to add to the pot.

I know what it takes, like I said I have already done this. I want to know if anyone knows where to get the "Apearance" mods for the Intake manifold. The plates that cover the block off plug. Thus my posting this in the "Apearance" section!
