There is no substitute for the Chambered exhaust. The website listed above is correct.

WWW.GMMGINC.NET

Someone tried to copy it a while back, its junk

Yes the sweet thunder pipes are very similar - any chambered pipe is similar. There was a person who made their own GMMG style exhaust and I think he was happy with it. My suggestion is that if you don't want to spend the money on the GMMG, go with a loudmouth and put a chambered section or two in the intermediate pipe and you will get a similar sound. Its the same as the dynamouth, only with a chambered section.

Just my opinon. I went with the GMMG and couldn't be happier with the sound or the quality.

Group purchase for the next week at F-bodyhideout.com $650 includes shipping and up to $50 rebate from GMMG if enough people buy in.

Regular price for the GMMG is $700

It might sound good but they're making a killing off that exhaust!

I did a quick tally and here's what I got to make that exact setup:

(From Summit)
Over the Axle Pipe = $49.99
Flowmaster Y-Collector = $38.99
2, 18in Chambered Pipes = $94.50
3 Stainless Mandrel J Bends = $77.97
Add about $20 for shipping and Handling
Good exhaust shop should be able to fab it all up from GMMG's pic for about $50.

Total = $331.45
Even if the exhaust shop charged $100 and shipping was $40 your still looking at less than $400 for what I would consider to be the exact same thing.
