Hooker LT's on the way...where's the best place to get these things?
On the air tube, should I just get them from a junkyard? Or maybe somebody here has them laying around the garage and they don't need them any more?
Does anybody have a picture of the 98-99 tubes so I'll know exactly what I'm looking for?
Thanks in advance,

im pretty sure you can switch the air tubes you have on your car now and they will work. The block off plate you can either rig somthing up yourself or go to thunderracing.com

Thanks...I'll check Thunderracing...
What do you mean by "switch the air tubes you have on your car now" though? I know the 2002 lines can be used, but they have to be bent quite a bit...

I picked up a set of 98 AIR tubes in the classifieds for $25 and bought the EGR blockoff plate from LS1 Speed. Tom is great to deal with! I bought all my GM gaskets and 02 Simms from them also. Good luck! You will love the Hookers! Very nice gain.

Update...found a local guy selling an EGR blockoff plate...
So I need both the left and right air tubes? Looking at Thunder Racing's site...
http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...ategoryid=1051
very bottom of the page...
Is this what I need?
20-12559188 and 20-12559189, "GM Smog Pipe"
I'm assuming that the pair? $90? I think I'd rather just bend the ones that are on it or look for some in the used parts section...

Those are the ones. They are cheaper at GMpartsdirect.com but I haven't checked them since I did my install. The 02' AIR tubes need to be heated and turned 90 degrees to work. PM MRZ28HO and he can give you more info on it since he did he 01' tubes this way.
