idle issues please help
idle issues please help this has been going on for a while now but just got worse lately. whenever i push the clutch in the car wants to rev up and not idle down. ive got a ported throttle body on my car and ive cleaned the t.b. also there is a hole drilled in the butterfly. im thinking its a tps sensor or could the t.b be bad? not sure please help.

It sucks for driveability, and it's a common issue that is easily fixed if the tuner gives it the attention it deserves. Generally it is the throttle cracker table out of whack from the increased airflow. Sometimes the throttle follower table also needs to be tweaked.
I'd venture to say that when your car is hanging at 1600, your throttle cracker PID (in a scantool such as autotap/efilive) is sitting at ~2.5

Verdad Gallardo actually sometimes it doesnt idle down at all. i usually start to release the clutch then it idles down but if the car starts to move ill push the clutch back down and it idles right back up. i seem to notice it when the car is hot also.
When you start the car, does the idle jump up real high, then slowly goes down? Or does does it only do this when you press the clutch pedal in?
I have a auto trans and when I start the car, the rpm's jump to about 1900 rpm's, then lower down to 950-1000 after about 10-15 seconds. I am thinking it may be because of the large cam in there, but not sure.
