Re: ford racing injectors or..? They flow about 36 lb at LS1 pressure. They're very good injectors and would serve you well.

Re: ford racing injectors or..? Ford rates their injectors at 43.5 psi. The LS1 runs at 58-62 psi. At this higher pressure the Ford injectors will put out quite a bit more than what they're rated for.

Re: ford racing injectors or..? I never said Lucas were the preferred injector (they'r not exactly cheap.) I just said they're better. There is nothing at all wrong with those other injectors. Lucas uses a different type of tip that is said to have just a little better spray pattern. Would you ever be able to tell a difference? No. Why do I use them then? Because with a NA 9 second car that's aspiring to be an NA 8 second car I'm pretty **** about everything! <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />

I'd start calling sponsors until I found one that carries them. I wonder if Scroggin Dickey Performance Chevrolet carries them?
