I knew they made them for C5s, and I also knew they had them for LS1 Fcars, but I didnt know of anyone running them

Let us know how they perform once you have them installed.

Never heard of these before. Be sure to get back to us on the performance increase. Also can you post some pics of these and tell us where you got them? Thanks

I got a set of the TPIS coated F-body headers too. They'll be going on in a couple weeks. They look real nice!

I got them from TPIS. I have a digital camera, but I don't know how to attach a picture here and post it. I could go downstairs and take some pics if someone can tell me how to get them on here.

Nice looking headers but the last few had quite a bit of fitment issues! The driver side header hit the stock k member severly!! Had to modify it alot to make em work. I will post pix tonight when I get home. Good Luck

I'm sort of worried now also. The guy in my club had problems with the drivers side motor mount. I'll call about the K-member. If 9T9BlueTA will host the pics I'll try and post them tomorrow.

Luv269,

What did you buddy in your car club do about the motor mount problems? What needs to be done to make it fit?

Man, I thought these things looked great for the price etc., but I wonder if I've just made another mistake.

I hope Mark from Andy's sends the pics.

I had one of the first pair of TPIS LT's from the first batch they relesed for F-Bodies. Not only are there fitment problems, but be sure to check inside your collectors. They had problems with the welds inside the collectors, where the primaries come together. There's supposed to be a plate inside there, that seals up the spaces between the primaries. Well, it seems that they forgot to weld that plate in on some of their headers. I'm willing to bet that after you install them, you'll end up having a sever exhaust leak...but I hope that's not the case, and they have since fixed the problem. I told them on several occasions about the problems I was having, and they said they would look into it.

UnbelievabLS1,

What did you have to do to get them to fit? Aside from the welds on the collector problem.

Will it require anything drastic??

The 2 plates in mine are all welded up pretty well I'd say.

Maybe if they fixed that, they fixed other problems they were having with some of the fitment issues. I can only hope anyhow.....
