Well the power isn't lost, it shifts up in the power band. With a muffler you'll feel more low end power because of the backpressure. With straight pipes, you'll gain more top end because of the lack of backpressue but may feel a bit less low end. At least that is how I understand it.

Also look into the Bassani True dual system. It's rather expensive, but I've seen a dyno graph somewhere on this forum of it producing significantly higher numbers over even a Borla catback. Just my $.02
that is mine.

If anyone has the link please post it. Ive been searching for this for a while now and would like to see where each muffler stands. Thank you . This would help alot.

I understand that GMMG is a quality product and sounds great at WOT. Is it worth 322 more than the LMII? I wonder if the Bassani will clear my driveshaft/crossmember loop?

the BMR DL loop that bolts to the tunnel brace would not clear.

The LM my be louder, but it doesn't come close in the sound quality of GMMG. If you are caring about tone (which should be most important, since the manifolds and cats are what hold back most of the power), then GMMG is worth the extra money. People get too hung up on how much power a catback will give them; most catbacks (except for the 40 series Flowmaster)will provide the same gains, if anything significant, so pick which one sounds best.
