How much clearance do you have??? If you have enough to squeeze it in, a Fram Sure-Drain might work... I have one on my car and have been fairly happy with it. I got the idea from when I worked at the airport. Almost every airplane I've seen has a drain that works in a similar manner. Hope this helps...

I had to file down the drain plug a little on mine. It didnt take very much to get the plug to come out.

I have Dynatech headers on my car (which are the same design as the FLP's but have no emissions fittings). The clearance to the oil drain plug is very close, and my headers are a little bent up from some hard landings.

I replaced the factory drain plug with a shorter one I picked up at the local parts place for under $5.00. Now it fits great, and I have no problem getting the drain plug out around the headers.

Default Headers blocking oil drain plug????

Went to get my oil changed yesterday and when they went to drain the oil they said that they couldn't get to the plug b/c the headers were in the way. I've got FLP headers and this is the first time I've tried to change the oil since I swapped the heads, cam, headers etc.. Just wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem.
Thanks,

Darren
