making a custome ypipe and exhaust what inch piping should i go?

Anything bigger and you will almost be losing power due to the negatives such as less scavenging.

cuz they said a 3inch y pipe flows as well as a 2.5 x pipe so a 3.5in y pipe and exhuast would be ok and flow as well as a 3in xpipie

But with what design pipe, how long, how many bends, etc... A 3" pipe would support 1000hp if it was straight and only 6" long.
