Default Cut out sounds good!!!!

I just had a cutout installed at the end of my y-pipe and it sounds pretty good if I do say so myself. Ive only got minor mods - LS6 cam and bore, Tune, the usual lid and free mods. Best $65 Ive spent yet.

Sweet! Throw a 240* cam in there and you'll like it even more!

Wouldn't you have to get better heads to put a cam in? you would think a bigger cam other then the stock one would wear down your stock heads quick

Negatory. Cam has nothing to do with "wearing" the heads. If you look around this board, you'll see there's about 3x as many people running only a cam as opossed to heads and cam. I'm a cam-only car myself.

Thought about it but Im trying to avoid that gas smell at the stop lights. Kinda kills it for me. And about the heads, I think the stockers flow pretty decent for stock. Dont get me wrong, you could do better but thats gonna cost ya.

Ran mine open all the time when I first got it, went to electric and never sealed right, finally broke it, but was fun. Moral of the story - keep track of your block off plate.

I don't know about you guys, but my gas smell at idle is puts tears in my eyes, literally. Anybody been around methanol burning dragsters? That is about my car with the cutout open.
