Ordered my Pacesetters today, no o2 sensors. So from what I understand I won't have any performance issues deleting this correct? Just won't tell me if I'm running rich or lean? Will be deleting AIR EGR and O2 are the plans. Any tips, and what do I need to do for block off plates? What all will I need to block/plug, what will I need, where can I get them?
Thanks

I didn't get o2 extensions. Off road headers they didn't even have the option to order them. I heard it won't be a problem, is that wrong?

i was getting a dynotune to go with the longtubes, so to make sure everything was in proper order i replaced my old o2 sensors with rear o2's from a corvette. the lead is longer so you dont have to get the extension.

So going with front o2's is required? I mean if I went without them would I be alright? Also anybody got tips/directions for motor mount install? Will I need block off plates? I was told for the off road headers I won't need any, confirmation please?

These are the LT's

yes you need front O2 sensors! As stated above, the best route is to get a set of corvette rear O2 sensors to run as your fronts. And no, you should not need block off plates for race headers.

You will have to run the front 02 sensors or the car wont run. You can delete the rear sensors but ya gotta have the front ones for the engine to function properly. Your "off road" headers will have bungs welded in so that you can screw in the front 02 sensors. Like was posted above you can get extentions or use the longer rear Vette sensors. The extentions will be much cheeper than buying the longer Vette sensors.

Alright thanks to both of you. Since they didn't offer to add it to my order, where can I buy the extensions or rear corvette plugs?

Your looking at $6,000 and up. If you think the manual bender are gonna do it forget it. They are not designed for exhaust tubing. It will collapse and fold in half or at best collapse so bad you wouldnt want to use it.

Find a new tuner.... cause that guy sucks! With any fuel injected vehicle, the computer uses the oxegen content of the exhaust to taylor the air/fuel ratio at the injector.... or something like that. At any rate, you would be lucky if your car ran well enough to put into drive without the o2 sensors, regardless of what size your cam is.

A stock tune with no O2's isn't ideal, but you'll be fine.
You guys need to open your eyes more, and realize that any tuner worth his salt WILL NOT tune with the MAF or O2's. With a cam like an MS4, the choppy idle makes the exhaust pulses erratic in a/f terms. Causing the O2's to hunt back and forth from rich to lean. When the exhaust is "lean" the o2's will compensate to make it richer. Before the Computer can correct this reading, the next exhaust pulse will be "rich" making the o2's try to compensate to lean it out. When in actuality the computer is delayed in response, making the "lean" mixture even more lean, and the corresponding "rich" mixture even more rich. Similarly, the MAF does the same thing.

I've been running my car around for 5 years with no O2's and no MAF, with a PROPER speed density tune. I still averaged out 24mpg on the highway with a 224/230 cam and 4.10's with a t56.

It's fine if you don't believe me, but one of the top 5 (if not THE best tuner in the nation) lives 10 miles from me, when he speaks, I listen.

Does anyone know the size of resonator (overall length) the tsp duals use?
