getting rid of rasp
For the original poster, I'd say sell your o/r y and get cats. I think you mentioned something in another thread about the fumes as well...a catted y would kill the rasp and fumes.

Good stuff!Before he gets here and tells you to put cats on (which will help cover the rasp up), I'll give my opinion......and it is that the y-pipe design is one of the biggest culprits of rasp. A well designed y-merge will tone down rasp. My pacesetters/h-pipe/1 chamber flows don't rasp one bit. If you want to make it easy on yourself, put cats back on. If you wanna spend some time and make it sound good, either find a good ory with a quality merge or *my personal favorite* toss the ory/catback and throw duals on there!!!
