Yep, look just like mine. Do your airpipe fittings have threads in them? I also don't like the way they put the EGR fitting right in front of where the 1st bolt goes. 02 bung on the pass. side header could be a little further north to give the y pipe a lil more room to slip on. Other then those things I think they look great. I'm puttin mine on tomorrow with the TSP y pipe. I'll be taking pics and post how it goes.

I just cut emmisions off mine, but i really had no choice. those fittings dont fit 2000 models. Love mine though, interested to see how yours fit because I had to do a good number of mods before mine came close to going in right.

You can have Pacesetter for 389 ceramic coated. Are those stainless steel better for any reason?

The price of popularity. Now they have been "marketed" on a reputable web site like LS1Tech, they can increase their price.

They look like really nice peices and for the price they seem hard to beat! I am quite happy with our coated PaceSetters though, until it is time to upgrade to some 1 7/8 Kooks...

What Y pipe or even X pipe TD system is everyone using with these?

It's just the material that makes them "better" than ceramic coated steel like the pacesetters. Performance wise they're no better, just that stainless won't rust and probably will outlast the car. Normally stainless is much more expensive than carbon steel.

Actually IIRC, the ceramic coated headers will eventually rust, but while they are in operational form they are better for exhaust heat management.

Conversely you can actually get the Stainless headers coated...

Interesting. I checked them out, they are still there and are very inexpensive.
They are made with 321 Stainless in stead of 304. What I found about 321 is that

A limitation with 321 is that titanium does not transfer well across a high temperature arc, so is not recommended as a welding consumable."
Anyone want to take a stab at what that means?
