Default my torque wrench slipped and smashed.........

my torque wrench slipped and smashed into the black fiberglassish box in the back of the engine bay next to the passenger side head. it made a hole about 1 inch by 1 inch, and teh piece that it broke off fell into it. i know it encloses the a/c thingy and i want to know if i can just leave the piece that fell in in there and just seal it with some gasket maker and epoxy........

might make a rattling noise with the a/c on if you do. or even while driving it might make some noise, id try to fish it out of there.

that would work if the hole was lower, the hole is like 5 inches from the bottom

I was thinking the same thing... It already has a hole, so just make it bigger, get the piece out, and seal it up good!

Since the whole you made is on the side, and I know there isnt a lot of room in there to get to it, seal that hole and make a smaller one on the bottom that you can fish it out of. Might as well get as close to the piece as you can to make it easier.
