Wouldn't the seemingly obvious choice be a QTP y-pipe then? Or do they not produce a catless version?

I bought QTP headers and their ORY. I am very satisfied with the longtubes and am equally disappointed with the Y - it is very expensive and didn't fit. It requires cutting and modifying the stock intermediate pipe and I need to be able to restore the stock exhaust system. I eventually fabricated a custom Y.

the do have a catless version, but everyone seems to have clearence problems. so they usually have a shop custom make a y-pipe. no where worth the money.

I'm going the custom y route myself whenever my headers come in.

I have QTP's on mine, but haven't tried to see if the Pacesetter Y that I picked up a few months back will fit. The previous owner had the car done with a Random Tech setup and I have some ground clearance issues occasionally. I'm thinking there's some adjustability to be had if I can get a set of ball/socket flanges from Flowmaster to connect the Y to the headers. The replacement I-pipe and over the axle pipe I got from Summit didn't run too much either. Just haven't had the time to futz with it too much lately. After seeing some of the true dual CME's in the other thread though....I'm seriously considering going that route.

well you can go true duals and not mess with a y pipe, and the duals will flow better also.

I have pacesetter headers/ORY. They're y pipe sucks. I'm going with a tsp i'm tired of listening to it rubbing on my tourqe arm.
