I have Borla on my 2000 SS, running no cats and Kook's 1 7/8 LT's and 3" ORY. It has alot of rasp around 2,000-2,500 RPMS but after that it sounds mean as hell. I have never heard the GMMG, so I could'nt make a comparison for you....just thought I would tell you about the Borla.

I have Borla with LTs and ORY. Lots of rasp

I vote for GMMG.

However, Borla sounds great with cats and stock manifolds.

If your keeping manifolds and cats...Borla would be a good choice also.

I have GMMG and I love it! I think can have a little drone around town with LT's and ORY but it sounds mean as hell when you stomp on it. I switched to a catted Y after a while to kill the drone.

GMMG for sure, hands down, no doubt about it. borla sounds like IMO. so raspy if the plate is open even a little, and the tone is really...it's just

I have the catted Y that came with my Kooks headers. I believe it is a Magnaflow Y but you would have to check on that. I also have a GMMG. It is great!!

Thats what I run and I love the sound!!! Ive heard it with LTs and cats and it still sounds good as hell.

But then again, the GMMG is sex too. So I think that when it comes down to these 2, it becomes personal choice.

As for the tips, I like the Borla's cause its probaly the most unique tip ever! The design really is kind of catchy
