Default Finally installed my LS6 Intake>>>

The intake swap wasn't to bad, didn't even break the oil pressure sender. But I deleted my AIR and EGR and thats where I had some trouble... After I started the car I had an exhaust leak coming from the driverside exhaust manifold, no biggie right So I tighten the block of plates and take it around the block. Leak starts again. So I was going to pull the block off plate and put another gasket on it. The car had been running for about 10 minutes, still not real warm, I take out the first bolt, then go to thew secound and it gets a little rought then bam broke that bitch I ended up trying to get it out with an ease out, no go so I had to over drill the hole and tap it with a 3/8-16 and luckily had an old ARP header bolt to fix it.
Overall, the car pulls alot harder in the midrange and up top, so after all of that I guess it was worth it

Sounds like it is working ok now. I just cut my block off lines off at the primary and welded that thing shut.

Wish mine was that easy, on my car, they mount flush on the exhaust manifold.

I was very pleased with the car, with slicks she would have been all over 13.0's, since I won't be using them maybe 13.2's with street tires and the intake, cutout, and ftra. I'm going to put my lt's and catback in the next couple of weeks, so I'll never find out the ET gain....

Don't put slicks on a 10 bolt. People do it, but it sure is a risk.

I know that, trust me, I broke my 10 bolt in my 94 on street tires. My 00 is my DD so no slicks for her

I don't have any dyno #'s, but the ol' but ometer felt a good gain. Most people say 10-15.
