Default is it possible that ls6 has egr off 02 camaro?

hey, is it possible that they made an ls6 intake with an egr off of a 02 camaro? i know slp came out with a version for it, but this guy on ebay who is also in the fs section on this site, is trying to tell me its a true ls6 intake off a 02 camaro. is it possible? heres the links.

Looks like an SLP LS6 intake. IF it has the flat bottom like in the pic, its an LS6. The flat botoom is always the give away on what intake it is, but this can obviously be looked at when its off the car.

yeah i dont think i'm gonna be messing around with this one. seems kind of shady. i tried to tell him its gotta be an slp version because original ls6 didnt have egr hookups. but he insists its an ls6 off a 02 camaro. so either he just dosent know what hes talking about or hes got somethin up his sleeve. who knows.

do you know if the # on the slp version would be the same as the one on the original ls6?

The intake PN that came on my car is 12561184 - definitely no EGR provision. Don't know if the SLP unit w/EGR would have the same GM PN? Probably just didn't come off an '02 car - no need to replace it, more likely was used on a pre '01 LS1.

It doesnt matter, the flat bottom is where you get the power gain from compared to the LS1's curved bottom intake. You can just leave the EGR hole plugged if you want.
