gmmg or stainless works cat back for ms3 car??
im trying to decide between the gmmg chambered exhaust, and the stainless works (not chambered) prices are the same but which will sound better for an 02 ss with ms3 cam, 5.3 heads, pacesetter lt's and texas speed catted y pipe? im not looking for the loudest im looking for the best sound quality, if anyone has other suggestions than these two im open to that as well
thank you

Either way, I'd probably do the GMMG out of the choices given.

I am going to buck the system and say go SW all the way...and here are the reasons.
1. GMMG on a header car without cats is loud as hell...almost as loud as my GTO was with the SW Chambered exhaust...almost!
2. The SW will be much more quiet with turbo style mufflers...I changed the chambered mufflers out for the SW turbo style mufflers and was much more pleased with the sound level and quality.
3. The SW system is a 3.5 inch system, while the GMMG is 3 inch. Size matters and with your power you need as much flow as possible.
4. My experience with SW was excellent fit quality, I doubt they would skimp on the F body exhaust.
This is of course assuming that you have a good Y pipe that merges into a single 3.5 inch pipe. If you merge into a 3 inch pipe, either all bets are off or you need to fix that problem.

Oh yea, if you go SW, order directly from them and make sure the muffler doesn't neck down to 2.5 inch inside muffler...the mufflers they made for my GTO did and I didn't know that until after I got them. They can make the muffler with 3 inch throughout if you request.

The bassani system hands down. You will have good clearance, the lowest point on that system is the driver's pipe just behind the cat. If you are going to spend the money for a good exhaust, I would do it right and get duals that are refined.

As meentSS said custom duals can be tucked up nicely if you go to a good shop. They wont be cheap but again if your spending $700+ on a new GMMG system then I say go the extra mile and get duals with some nice quiet muffler (if loudness is an issue) as you will net more power, especially with your stout setup.
