never had a hooker CB but I had a Flowmaster Muffler in place of the stocker on my Formula when I bought it. It was a bit louder and sounded good IMO than my Magnaflow Catback. Everybody will most likely tell you hooker though.

This is a no-brainer if you have to choose between the hooker and blowmaster. Buy the Hooker and never look back!

I have had them both, before I saw the light and swapped to true duals. I liked the Hooker better than the 80 series crossflow. But for me, nothing compares to my current, and LAST, setup.

This is the part when people no longer answer your posted question and begin telling you what setup THEY have.

Flowmaster if you dont want to gain anything but like the sound, hooker if you want to gain some power and still have a good exhaust tone

Hooker all the way. Not only will you get a more refined sound, but pick up more power. There are several people who have cars in the 500 range & lose little if anything at all through the Hooker over a open cutout.
