from what i heard they both sound good. i think they both are quiet even with longtubes and ory. but i like the sound of the hooker at idle..it has a nice deep rumble.

magnaflow is louder than the hooker. I like the sound of magnaflow better. And magnaflow is stainless steel.

Out of the two, Magnaflow will be a lot louder with an ORY. It will also be raspier than the Hooker muffler.

i like the sound of hooker...yea the magnaflow is stainless, but its still raspier than the hooker. If u want straight loud between these two, than magnaflow FTW, but if you want a slightly deeper tone, more musclecare-like, then hooker FTW..either one isn't bad, just a matter of preference..did u check ls1sounds.com?

My votes for the Hooker. I had that along with LT's and an ORP and it was LOUD. I don't know why some say it's quiet. It did have a nice deep tone and I always had cops on my case. I even put a bullet in the I pipe and she still screamed. It's all preference. Both are nice systems in my opinion. I'm just partial to the Hooker!

The hooker muffler sounds good and flows very well but it wont last long. The chamber tends to break loose inside eventually.....

Been running mine for 2 yrs. Not one problem. Love the sound & the fact I can still hear inside the car while driving. Mine is daily driven in all weather conditions & still looks good. Not any surface rust at all. They are painted with high temp black anyway, so unless you finding ways to scrape your muffler all up, I wouldn't worry about the whole "it's not stainless" b.s.

agreed, i have a magnaflow catback on my car. with LTs and orp is was loud and raspy. i swapped out the muffler for a aerochamber. no more rasp and the car to me sounds better with the areochamber
