What TD system? My headers tucked that high and my TSP system wasn't a problem. I need to BFH the floorpan a bit, but other than that, they got on just fine. My only thought is that you have to use that 3-bolt transition, that might be making them go out TOO far... My pacesetters just had a slip fit. That might be your issue?

Well what I meant was, your hooker headers have a 3-bolt collector flange, whereas many LTs for the LS1 are slip fit. what I'm saying is, the fact that you have to have that reducer bolted onto the END of your header might be pushing the duals further back than intended. What LT did the previous guy have?

Pacesetter makes 3-bolt headers? Wierd. I'm probably wrong in my assumption but that's about the only thing I can think of.

Got any better pics? Kinda dark, maybe put the dual on so we can see exactly where the issue is.

Take it to an exhaust shop and let them deal with it.

I would just see if anyone local can do it. Where do you live that they won't touch it? Also, maybe I'm blind, but I don't see any fuel lines in the pics. Are you talking about the ones that go along the driveshaft tunnel?

theres a shield over the fuel lines..the fuel lines are under that silver shield that the end of the reducers are hitting

Ohhh ok now I see it. My headers cleared it, barely, but cleared it. It seems as though if the whole header/reducer setup were a few inches shorter it'd work. I don't really know how to work around that. Answer this, where the duals attach to the reducer, do they drop down in the direction of the ground, kind of like a zig zag or just a straight shot?
