Default MISFIRE!!!please help

hey guys im new to working on LS1's. but i just got done putting headers, ORY, plugs and wires in my car and now when i start it up it missfires at idle. you can hear it sputtering out the exhaust. and it has thrown a cylinder misfire code twice. I have checked all my wires to make sure they are all on god a couple of times so i dunno what it could be. If anyone could help me out that would great.

You may have cracked the porcelin on one of the plugs. Doesnt take much to crack one. Also double check the MSD wires and make sure you feel/hear the 'click' when you are putting the wires on the plugs. You may think they are on all the way and they arent. Just take some time and go back over the plugs and wires and you will figure it out.

Check your plugs, everyone seems to brake one or two there first time, and then make sure you put the wires on correctly.

i just looked at the spark plug gapping chart on here and it says to gap NGK TR6's at .035-.038. I gapped mine quite a bit bigger than that i believe. Could to much gap on the plugs cause it to misfire and throw codes?

Make sure the end of the wire that goes onto the coils clicks 2 times.

I've checked and reckecked that all my wires are on good. I just dont know what else it could be. Maybe the spark plug gapping like I mentioned above but not for sure.

Check the coil pack and plug going to cylinder # 3. I had the same problem with my headers. I was using msd plug wires, and we had to bend the plug wire a bit to keep clearence from touching the header.Apparently, after bending the wire it caused a mis on the plug(so much you could hold the plug wire and feel the miss pulsate with the tick sound). After replacing the plug wire car ran like a champ....

not sure why you are running tr6's?? I do not see any no2 or blower, so why the colder plug? I also would suggest checking the wires, ie pull them off and do it again, check all the plugs and if you took the coil packs off check their connectors
