AIRBOX for US body Ram Air II hood
something like that but wayyyyy cheaper and for a 98 and up. i'd rather not pay $300 for a new airbox <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">

Those setups do not work better than any of the current airbox lids out there. So, just buy the lids for $99-$150 and be done with it.
PS, a K&N filter makes no additional power on a nearly stock LS1. Might show some gains past 350 rwhp vs a Fram though.

Re: AIRBOX for US body Ram Air II hood
ttt.. the stock style lid won't work with my hood.

thats the hood, its identical to the WS6 hood in the way it functions and im almost 100% positive the hood won't close with my whisper lid. i need the open filter type lid so it will be right under the nostrils.
