From a physcial flow point I don't see how the Dual Dual could flow as good as the 2OTL. Having said that I think there is probably very little HP difference between the two. Joe.

FWIW I have seen the SLP cutaway of the SLP 2otl.
Basically it's a 3" inlet that Y's off at like a 15 degree angle inside, into two 3" pipes.

I am hopefully getting my setup tonight, but its all the way in Orland and I don't really want to drive in rush hour...

I have an ORY and the 2OTL was the perfect sound until I put a B1 cam in this week. Now I’m getting a small amount of rasp around 2300rpm and it’s a lot louder than it used to be. I like it loud BUT, I don’t really want the added attention from local law enforcement. So I’m thinking about a dual/dual instead. Will D/D flow as well as 2OTL?

Keep your 2OTL. I'm sure it looks unique on your T/A. SLP dual/dual should flow roughly about the same give or take a couple horses either way. It will probably be too quiet for you though(even with the off-road pipes).

My Hawk came with the D/D and I also have the G5 cam and FLPs with the ORPs on and it is pretty much anything but quiet.

Its quiet when crusing right, but as soon as you hammer it, its LOUD
I've heard a car with FLP's ORP's and dual-dual before, it sounds really good because there is no rasp...

I'm still considering this one. We'll see how it sounds on Bos's car

I love my SLP dual/dual w/ FLP's, ORP, and Comp XE-R 224 cam. It's still really quiet compared to other catbacks at idle and part-throttle, but it has a NICE sound at WOT. It's the perfect catback IMO. I hope to have some new dyno #'s w/ the cam this week, and I'll make some runs w/ the cutout closed and open. I know of a local heads/cam car that dynoed 429 RWHP and 386 RWTQ through the SLP dual/dual!
