lol its the EXACT same thing. that's their website, they are the people that manufacture them. the reason they're cheaper is because obviously when you eliminate the middleman you can save money. notice they say in the listing about "other people listing them for $550" well that was because during the gp a few weeks ago they had a ton of people (including myself) contacting them directly and trying to get a better price. i've just ordered these myself. for $475 shipped i'm willing to take a chance.

I went to the site you were talking about but I don't see a great deal there. Looks to me like it says $575 plus shipping.

well my xs headers and y pipe came today and overall i'm satisfied. the headers look pretty damn good. i cant wait to get them installed when i have a weekend to spare. however, my y pipe looks pretty crappy. it looks pretty much the same as the guy who posted some pictures of his a while back. anyone who gets these is definately gonna have to get inside and try and sand/smooth down the merge cause there's like a 1 inch lip that will definately hurt airflow. they also included some crap-tacular steel clamps with the kit. i'm gonna go out to an autoparts store and try to get some better stainless steel ones when install time comes around because i just wouldnt trust those. but all in all i'm satisfied with my purchase and for the cheap price i paid for this kit i'm pretty happy. lets just hope these things hold up well in the long term because this product is relatively new and no one has had them on their cars for more than a few months now. i'll post up again in the future here after i get everything installed, hopefully it'l be a fairly easy job.

I received mine today with FedEx delivery. 321 Stainless and ORY.

They are beautiful. Perfect welds.

I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

I'm using deductive reasoning here...

If the pacesetter y-pipe fits (and it does look identical to the one they're selling with these headers) and the TSP y-pipes are designed to fit both pacesetter and hooker headers, then i would say that the TSP y-pipes (they offer both catted and OR versions) will fit these headers. Furthermore, if the TSP pipes also fit Hooker headers, and the jet hot y fits hooker headers, then I would say that the Jet Hot Y should fit too.

Am I crazy or does this make sense?

Who has the TSP catted Y? I'm very interested to find out if it's any good. If so, I may be going this route.

i just ordered these today. I got 24" 02 extentions and stainless band clamps. Was told to reuse stock gaskets/bolts. I was just thinking though, do i need aftermarket plugs/wires??? or are my stock ones just fine. I mean my car is barely past its breaking in point....(in sig)

If someone would care to confirm that i am going to be good to go and have everything i need id appreciate. And Carl (black2002WS6) has been a lot of help too.

i've heard a bunch of people saying they used loctite to help keep the bolts from backing out (a common problem after they've been on a few hundred miles). as for the new plugs wires, normally i'd say yes because there's no easier time to change them but in your case with 2k miles i'd say wait a while longer....say around the 30k mark? also, how many band clamps did you buy and which ones were they?

dont think you'd need it if you have the better bolts

if you're referring to the stage 8's i'd rather spend $4 for a tube of loctite than $4 a bolt if the stock ones are still useable.
