Stainless Headers and Y-pipe NEW TECH SPONSOR
Whats up fellas. I have the Pacesetters LT and Y. The SSAuto Y looks very similar. My y-pipe and many others that i have seen were not the best when it comes to the merge. If you have air tools and compressor or access to them, this can be fixed in less than an hour. You will need a 6" cone shaped carbide bur and a die grinder. Go in from the passenger side of the Y to clean it up. I don't have pics but mine was about 1/3 of the way blocked off. Now its a nice smooth transition.
not-a-sponsor.com are $260 for the headers. Why is that? Also, I just want the headers because I'm getting true duals. Do I need the y pipe?

I know I don't need the y pipe. I was wondering if there are connections on the y pipe that I needed, as in O2 holes or something. Also, would header wrap damage the headers over time or solve the spark plug problem?
You would only need O2 bungs if you plan on doing Wideband tuning. I'm just using MSD wires on mine. You can bend the boots which ever way you want to get them away from the headers. I've had them on there for about a year now with no problems.
