Default What paper filter do you like best?

Vote on what you think the best paper filter is since everyone seems to think K&N makes no power and doesn't filter as well.

Wix, superior filter medium and the pleats are wider meaning more surface area.

The Fram is less than half the ac delco. I got one at Walmart for $7.47.

Fram and Purolator produced less pressure drop than the
stock AC/Delco when I flow-tested them. I did not have
a Wix to look at. The pressure drop was tiny fractions of
"H2O so it probably doesn't matter which you pick.

I trust Purolator if I have to use a "normal" filter. They know what they're doing and they haven't sold themselves out like Fram did. Wix is good too.

Amsoil paper filter. You can clean it with just shop air no oil like other reuseable filters

That would be my choice. Filter better than paper yet will flow better as well and cleanable to boot.
Look for the EaA83 for the LS F-bodies.

I voted Wix eventhough I have NAPA Gold (same thing), but I might try the Amsoil one when this one gets dirty.... It looks pretty good compared to the others on the market. Anyone else have any experience with this filter?

I was real pleased with a Fram. Now, I'm using a WIX. The Fram from a seat of the pants perspective seemed to make the car run better.
