Default Do Moroso Spiral Flows Flow Ok or....

Are they restrictive for what they are, heres my set-up - I will have no mufflers, LT headers and hi-flos so I need something that will quiet it down without hurting flow, I have heard that these are restrictive and dont flow well or as well as bullets would, what do you guys think? I want to get them but dont want to kill HP

Believe me I have done a search on this with no real results but how much WHP difference between the bullets and spiral flows?? Which ones would you get?

Of the three TSP offered, I chose spirals and couldn't be happier. I had heard STs on my friend's car and wasn't impressed, and bullets from what I understand are just ***** LOUD As for WHP difference, no idea

I'm going to Moroso this week with my TD setup. Bullets are so way way loud that I'm embarrassed to drive the SS sometimes. If it's still to loud then I'll run up over the axels.

how can you be embarassed to drive somthing that sounds so good? bullets sound badass, sounds like a ***** out racecar at WOT. only complaint about them is a bad drone at 1500-2200 RPM.

look, if you get the TSP TD's, get whichever ones you think will sound better. the way this setup is designed, you can un clamp them and un bolt them and put the other ones right up in their places. thats what im going to do. im going to call TSP and order either sprial flows or sweet thunders, hell i may get them both and switch them out as i feel needed.

Both him and I have vettes so we already have true duals but (he is my buddy) we are actually thinking of doing the same set-up but we both dont know which one would be best for our vettes as far a hp, I know I dont want to install the spiral flows with my lt headers and it fall on its face after 4k due to it being restrictive!!!

does it fall on its face with the stock exhaust? no. which do you think is more restrictive, the sprial flows or the stock "in one side, out the same" mufflers? asking if its going to fall on its face with a bullet style muffler is like asking if a 100 year old oak tree will fall if i sneeze on it.

they arent going to make it fall on its face after 4k. you have to choke it down pretty good for that to happen. when you get a cam in there, then your gains/losses will be more evident. but for now, its no biggie. spiral flows or not, with LT's and highflow cats even if you put the stock mufflers back on they would still out flow the same mufflers with stock cats and manifolds.

i believe the main concern expressed in the past was the amount the pipe reduces to in the actual muffler which i believe is 2" although i could be wrong but i know the sweet thunders are reduced to 2.5 and the bullets are straight 3" so based on that, you should be able to tell which flow the best, however pretty much any muffler you can see in one side and out the other is going to flow good. Have you thought about 1-chambers, powersticks or hooker aerochambers?
