I wrapped my headers last time I had my motor out. It seems like is keeps the underhood temps down a little bit, but it makes changing the plugs out even harder because it makes it an even tighter fit to get them out. I have my headers off again and I could take the wrap off but I like it so I'm gonna leave it. It is kind of a headache but it also looks really badass.

I was always told, but have never confirmed, that wrapping headers keeps "too" much heat in and weakens the steel. And that the gains weren't worth possibly ruining a set of nice headers. More of an all out drag car type of thing to do, rather than a street car mod.
