I have them. Not too bad of a header. they do hug the middle a bit. Close to the oil filter is the complaint I here.

They were some of the 1st LT's out for LSx's.
They make good power..As good as any LT short of a QTP/Kooks HVMC..
If you can score a set & the price is right, they are fine.
The only reason to run Hookers instead would be price..I remember FLP's being somewhat pricey only because they could be..It was either those or Grotyohahns..& Grotes took forever to fab & were even more $$$$.

I never need too much of a reason to score some Hookers.

I had FLP's on my old car. I loved that I could just swap on the cats an hour before going to get emissions testing.

I got then used and they had welded the collector's to a custom X pipe and then cut it off so now I have to weld in a X pipe to it so no adjustable cats for me! I basically just wanted to know if they were worth a damn and about their quality?

I have them, I think they are a very nice LT, fit is great and makes good power. Is the same basic Grotto design as the kooks and QTP etc. My dyno #'s are pretty good with just the FLP LT's FIPK and magnaflow catback. I gained around 30 rwhp.
