LS7 heads for my LS1 my friend is taking all his aftermarket parts off of his z28 b4 he sells it and i'm thinking about getting the ported LS7 heads and i have no idea what to offer him 4 them , can anybody help... thanx
LS2 heads are the same 243 casting as LS6 heads without the LS6 valves. They WILL bolt right up. As far as price, it really depends on who ported them, how wild they went with the setup, valves used and springs. You need more info to make an informed decision.

They will work on an LS1 like already said. Typically a stock pair of 243 casting heads goes for about $500 all day, sometimes slightly less/more. If they have any work in them he paid for, he's probably going to want more, but start there.
