Default Low exhaust (Poor install?)

My exhaust is very low. With two adults in my car i drag it on the pavement alot.

I need to do something about it. THe previous owner had them installed, they seem poorly done..but not sure. Both pipes run along the passenger side, not sure if thats normal or not.

My local shop says they will try and do something about it.

One question, what would happen if the exaust was split at the x, so it was to separate pipes from the headers, instead of joined? Looks to me like that would make it way easier to make them higher.

Maybe i should post a picture....

Here is one of the member's exhaust setups that I saved which shows a nice clean look.

Regards!

yes it was just a shitty install. are you lowered at all?

here is a pic of my OLD setup

this part would scrape ALL the time on EVERYTHING, especially with passengers in the car.

any shop could fix it no problem, and if they say they cant, then they just dont want to. take your business somewhere else...

My shop says they can. They just need to bend it and stuff.

But the X part of the pipe, if that could be split..would sure makeit easier.

I am going to try and get some pics to show here.

There's only so much you can do, with under-the-axle pipes.
You could always run bigger tires
