I too think of the 03/04 cobra when I see under the axle duals. I personally have it done and think that it looks tough. Sounds damn good too. What looks "ghetto" is the big *** full size muffler from a catback.
Everyone asking about or assuming that the section under the axle scrapes, it doesn't. Does your rear diff. bottom out and scrape when you go over bumps etc. ? Mine sure doesn't and neither does my exhaust.

I personally like the way they fabbed the system up and it looks clean as hell. I would like to try to fit some high quality mufflers right before the tips just to move them as far downstream as possible, but at this point, I have other fish to fry to get my car where I am happy with it. If I do my exhaust again (yes, I will cut and weld it myself) I am going to try to do this and go under the axle.

Looks good from my house...only con that I can see would be when it comes to putting the vehicle up in the air....a lot of these under axle setups I've seen unbolt before the axle so that you can remove the pipes before you jack up the vehicle. Did they do this on yours?

I'm from Oklahoma too and my old set-up was under the axle. TSP true duals w/ sweet thunders. I connected the pipes with 3 bolt flanges to the muffler, ran under on either side of the 3rd member and angled back out (just like a 03/04 Cobra) and ran into my CME. EVERYBODY thought it looked Also never had any clearance issues with the under axle portion. My lowest spot was on my cutouts in front of the mufflers but that was my fault when I put them in.

That is exactly how my exhaust is set up. From behind you cant even see the pipes even in another car and I'm only lowered 1''. As far as scrapes go, not even on speed bumps, use common sense guys........its only that low at the differential and when do you scrape your diff?. I have my exhaust flanged at the header and after the muffler for easy removal. It has much better flow and Best of all it only cost about $210 at an exhaust shop, most shops will laugh at you when you tell them you want 3'' duals run over the axle. Ghetto........not even close.

i dont think it looks ghetto, and that setup looks pretty nice minus the tips. I'm thinking of going under the axle this winter, but i havent decided yet i guess it all depends on the price difference
