Default Duals under the axel...ghetto??

What's the overall opinion...does this look ghetto?? (Not the tips...just the fact it goes under the axel)

Edit: this isn't my car. I was just thinking of doing my exhaust like this

Only those in the know, know what is going on. The bend quality of the pipe looks good and it's symetrical. It also will not knock and raise hell like it probably would if you put duals over the axle. I vote ok.

It's sooo much cheaper and the pros probably outweight the cons as far as I can tell.

But, yes, ghetto. Hate the way it looks, and I'm sure the car behind it can see that they go under the axle. Wouldn't do it to my car, but I can certainly understand those that do.

Maybe some different angled pictures and a side shot to see how low it hangs. It reminds me of the SVT Cobra exhaust in the styling. I don't know if I'd do it though.

I just absolutely hate the way it looks. Yea it's easier, yea it's cheaper, but you're getting custom true duals. May as well be the way you want it. Besides, if you ever need to drop the rear or change the fuel pump or anything, it looks like a disaster waiting to happen.

If I owned the car I would paint the exhaust black from somewhere near the tips(maybe where they start bending down to approach the diff), to somewhere in the middle of the car...... this will make the pipes MUCH harder to see at first glance

also some pics from different angles and heights would be nice....

sorta ghetto but im sure it flows great and sounds great....

also if you ever have a problem with the rear, i would just cut the exhaust in front of the rear and put it back together with clamps or some sort of connection after rear end is back in..... if this is possible?????? just an idea

Seeing as I live in Oklahoma (worst roads in the nation) I wouldn't. I might though if I lived in a different state.

Also how much does a person usually save between under and over the axel setups?
Assuming it's done properly.

I don't know about you, but I've never scraped my differential on anything other than a squirrel or two... lol

It looks ghetto, but gets the job done. I would never do it on mine (and didn't), but you can do whatever you please.

I dont think it looks to bad, i think of an 03/04 Cobra when i see it. I wouldnt have gone dumps on a T/A just because of the rear bumper, they look odd without tips. On a Camaro i would go dumps.

i don't like it... i just think it'd be bottoming out on everything....

i figure either do duals off the header, to the axle, or just go with a custom y-pipe and a good cat-back.

i don't like exhuast tips generally. so i personally don't care to have exhaust ran out the back regardless.
