It looks like 03-04 Cobra exhaust to me, looks fine. Maybe if the piping was more shiny/stainless.

I did an exhaust like that on my body dropped S10. That was the only way I could get tailpipes out the back. I loved it and I think yours looks fine. Paint it black and it'll be great.

I don't quite hate the way it looks, but like you said the logistics of it doesn't make sense. If you have to do any work back there it's going to be a pain in the ***. Have fun unbolting freakishly hot exhaust pipes.

I've had mine under the axle for years. I've never scraped, it looks great because it's symetrical, and I have flanges behind my mufflers so that I can run dumped or remove them for easy maintenance. Takes a wopping five minutes to remove mine. Not ghetto at all. Cost effective, flows well, looks great.

we should start a poll for anyone whos bottemed out? anyone? i understand ur axle doesnt bottem out, but it also moves with the suspension. so a speed bump, whole axle goes up seperate from the exaust. but it lifts the whole rear of the car so it wont scrape. what about when one side goes up and maybe the car doesnt lift? the exaust is still hanging down in way of the obstuction but not the axle. i personally like the idea and am curious if there is any report of scraping. maybe just shitty work or certain conditions please list.

I have mine run under the axle also with Spintech Prostreets on it and only scrape over very, very uneven roads.

Kinda reminds me of the way a cobra looks from behind... Exhaust wise that is.

Its decent looking. Clearance sucks but if you dont care then your ok. Ghetto implies doing it the cheap way so I voted ghetto based on that principle. But its not a hack job.

I would never do it, but if you like it that's all that matters. IMO, I'd either dump it under the car, run it over the axle, or run a set of those boom tubes out in front of the rear tires nascar style, but that's gonna be loud as hell.

One thing I'd be worried about is the car bottoming the exhaust out at the track on a hard launch, if you run a bias ply tire and it hits the tire hard and squats down a good bit that will hit leaving the line, and could cause the car to get out of shape, maybe even cause it to get turned towards the wall if it hit hard enough.

I hate the fact you cant put it on a lift with under the axel TDs. If you did your rear end would drop and bend/rip the pipes off.

I think it looks decent, compared to spending more money on wrapping it over the rear axle. Mine are dumped so I didn't have to run into that problem.
