I have a custom true dual setup on my 2000 trans am i love the sound lol but the cops dont i got a ticket today for too loud muffler imporper equipment. i am running pacesetter LT's no cats x-pipe setup to 2 12" dynomax bullet mufflers over the axle out the back. is tehre any other round canister type muffler i can use that makes a quiter sound such as a magnaflow, moroso spiral flow or anything else. i need something that in quiter than the 12" bullet from dynomax. keep in mind i am also running a 383cid motor. any sugestions are welcome

the spiral flows might be a bit better..but not much.


what you need is a full size case muffler...like the magnaflow 4x9.

tones my cammed ls1 down nicely.

where are your mufflers....in front or behind the axle?

summit or jegs sells a 24" bullet muffler...could help...or maybe the borla XR1

i have the magnaflow 4x9 on my dumped duals and it is much quieter. I also had bullets and almost got a ticket haha.

what are the 4x9's you are referring too?

2 that will quiet down your idle and cruise would be Spintech's and Borla XR1's

My bullets are in front of the axle i will post a picture tonight. so we are saying the magnaflow or the spintech are the best so far

x2 thats what i run car is nice and quiet but still gets pretty loud at wot. Not super loud but loud enough

sounds good and not to loud down low or at idle. mine should be a little more quit to because i have over the axle duals also
