Would you happen to have the GM part # for the front and rear coolant lines. I did a manual search on gmpartsdirect.com but could not find the lines.

I just bought the coolent lines from texas speed it was like 45-50 bucks shipped which I think is worth it, to simplify everything, also anyone know where I can pick up a set of gaskets?

It does not appear that there would be much strength lost from grinding away those ribs on the bottom of the intake but I do have a question. If I were to get a Fast 78 or 90 intake or an intake from any other manufacturer instead of an LS6 intake, would the factory LS1 cooling lines pose a problem just the same and need to be swapped? I have never actually laid hands on a FAST.

not to change the subject but im sure some LS1-LS6 swap guys will come across this. Now that the EGR will be deleted, would we get the newer 00-02 headers that some places sell? (i.e. pacesetter LT's)

I mean, when we put the LS6 manifold on our cars, we're gonna have to block off the EGR on the headers too right?

Yes. When I do my intake swap I will be doing race style headers at the same time. Otherwise get the block-off plates for your emissions friendly headers.

I alreay bought a block off plate for my Lt's because i have emissins style. I decided im going to keep the ls1 lines and knock the tabs off the manifold

i got the OEM gaskets from the dealership. Cost me $50 and thats my price for working there too!!

I just started my intake install today, kinda a pain in the ***, i decided to grind the tabs off the bottom, which is taking quite a while, but im impatient and cheap so i dont feel like buying the lines, but I grinded the wrong side at first and i can tell you that It WILL NOT fit without grinding. I also upgraded to 28lb injectors over my 26's for a little extra feul to help me sleep at night when i hit the nitrous. Also, i was yanking pretty hard and still didnt manage to break the oil pressure sensor, (although i probably jynx'd myself now, lol). Im hoping to have it done tomorrow or the day after so i can see if i feel a difference, boltons feel slow to me now =[
