Weird exhaust question

I have a buddy with a H/C 02 SS w/ LTs and an LM1. He really likes the sound, but it just gets too loud for the neighbors sometimes. Anybody have any ideas how to quiet it down every now and then without getting rid of the LM1? We were thinking about trying to cutout INTO a quieter muffler or something, but there is no place to do something like that under these things.

Anybody have any ideas that might actually work?

the only thing i can think of is to put on a quiet muffler and get an electric cutout so you can open it when you want to be loud

how else would you get a quieter exhaust for you smart exhaust guys?

Loud LM1

Same problem when I did H/C on my T/A with LM1. Tried a LM2 muffler. Not much better. Highway speeds and rasp still sucked. Went to round Borla with the center screen/baffle and cruising and rasp WAY better. Still sounds bad *** on the power but won't draw the dirty looks and make you crazy if you don't want the noise.

wouldn't work because the cutout seperates the flow in half, so half of the flow would still be going into the LM part(and most of the sound)
