ARH LTs have arrived!!

LS6 intake is on the way as well. I got the emissions headers in case they crack down around here and I have to hook it up at some point, but as of now all that junk is laying in the garage floor. Should finish the install in the next few days.

Any tips for a first time header install? lol

Just like what was stated, do yourself a favor and swap out the motor mounts while the exhaust is out of the way. It adds about 15-20 minutes per side, but is well worth it because I think the factory mounts were meant to handle v6 torque, much less a modified ls1's torque output. The mounts will keep the ypipe from banging the floorboards as well.
Second suggestion is to get the car as high off the ground as you safely can. Most long tube headers need to go in vertically, which means that the front end of the car needs to be a minimum of 30" in the air. Anyless and you will be struggling and coming back on here saying that the headres are so hard to install.
Another point is reuse your stock header gaskets. They are a multi layer steel and better than what they sent you.
Finally, don't try and hold up the header and bolt them in. Get a friend to help hold them in place while you hand tighten all of the bolts first before you start to tighten them, if you can't run them in by hand, don't force them or you will strip the head or wrose, snap a bolt. If there is no one available, find anyone that is near by and pay them $20 to stand there and hold them. Just do a search on 'broken header bolts' to see how many people, myself included, have stripped or snapped a header bolt because they tried to install the headers by themselves.
