Default f.a.s.t vs ls6

after buying a h/c package from slp i will b needing a intake...should i spend the 1100 on a fast 90/90 or a ls6 intake for 500 ? and what mm is the ls6 and would i still need a tb if i got the ls6? the fast 90/90 would get me the most power right? the cam spec is 236/236 and the heads r 225cc with 65cc combustion chambers

If you have the LS1 throttle body, you don't need a new one when using an LS6 manifold. They both are 75mm.

Only get the 90/90 if you plan on a stroker/all bore motor down the road.

Peace,
Craig.

You can get a good LS6 intake for about 300$ off the for sale section on here all day long. Don't get a new one unless you have to.

A FAST is better, dyno proven. It all depends on your budget and power expectations.

it all depends on your future plans, for most the fast 90/90 is overkill

There you have it. Based on just a H/C upgrade I would say spend that money elsewhere.

go FAST, i gained 35rwhp/10rwtq over the Ls6 i had on my car...it was worth selling the Ls6 intake and then spending only $650 out of pocket for the FAST 90/90...that's a little over $18/1rwhp. the Ls6 left me very disappointed. i should have gone FAST 90/90 first time around. i learned the hard way...

Agreed. And I would suggest our 90mm billet TB. Known for not having the issues of sticking blades, etc. some have.

no i dont because im running 59cc heads and a little 224 cam, and the numbers in my sig are what im putting down with my setup (no E.W.P., no U/D Pulley, stock injectors)...

go with the fast 90 if you have bigger mods like a cam or nitrous, LS6 is fine for stock engines IMO

i work @ a dyno shop and we didnt notice any gains with fast 90/90's over ls6's with the 3 cars we tested. i would say stick with an ls6. im running an ls6 with 680rwhp but in my case its fi. i havent tried a fast on my car but i hear they dont do much for fi cars...

with an out of the box 90/90 swap you will gain 12-15rwhp and with a ported 90/90 you will gain 18-25rwhp depending on who does the porting.
