Default ! cruise control module

My cruise control doesn't work anyway, so I thought i might just remove it so i could have a little bit cleaner engine bay. Does anyone know how difficult this is? Is there a tutorial somewhere?

Removed mine yesterday....its the big aluminum box in front of the drivers side tire. Just need a 10mm and a 6mm, unplug the harness and remove the cable from the round thingy by the battery.

Its very straight forward. Once you find the box you just unbolt it.

I am having trouble finding it. I saw were the cable goes near the TB. I followed it, and it goes under the drivers side wheel well I believe. Do I need to get under the car to remove it?

You need to remove all of the plastic from the bottom of the bumper cover to get to it. Pull the car onto a ramp if you have one.

It is not much too it and it is tucked away up on the frame. I like mine. Going on a long cruise it gives me a chance to rest the Lead Foot.

There is a switch on the clutch pedal that engages when the clutch is engaged on manual trans cars, obviously. The switch can be adjusted via threads. For some reason the switch has been know to back off its threads and won't fully engage. If you car is stickshift, check the switch; it's mounted at the very top of the clutch pedal's arm under dash.

Is there anyway to just bypass that switch?
