Stealth exhaust?
Currently running straight pipes on my ride. Really not that loud, but looking to go 'stealth' mode with a quieter exhaust. I had a knockoff flowmaster 2.5" muffler w/2k on it prior to straight pipes. Is there any way to make it quieter? I was considering trading someone for a stocker, but they are so heavy. Sounds like the flowmaster actually makes it louder. I don't mind loosing a few ponys for a quieter exhaust.

I'm trying to figure out how you are running straight pipes with a muffler? It's contradictory.
SLP dual/daul and 2OTL are the best and are stainless. If you want to quiet down what you have you can add bullet mufflers in the I-pipe or one in each side of the y-pipe. That will help alot. Ditch the flowmaster atleast and get a magnaflow.

Could you elaborate on your definition of "quiet" - as in stockishly quiet, quiet as other catbacks out there, in the middle??? I've looked at those mufflers before but never pulled the trigger.

what i havw is long tubes to ORY to loudmouth 1 to electric cutout the stock muffler. So when i open my cutout its just the loudmouth and when i close it, it goes through loudmouth and stocker. its nice to have when a cop pulls up next to you

Straight pipes means there is no mufflers where I'm from.
2 bullet mufflers in the y-pipe where the cats were will quiet it down ALOT. But the flowmaster is also a restriction, I would put a magnaflow in there or better yet repalce the whole catback with one of the SLP setups. They sound great, aren't too loud, and are stainless to last a lifetime. I got tired of rusting exhaust systems and will never again buy anything that isn't stainless.

There are straight pipes on car. The muffler was cut out and sitting in my house. Sorry, didn't get that across on the thread. Dam typing. Anyone need a 2.5" slowmaster knockoff? Good for a V6
