Will a cutout make me run rich?

I am getting ready to put in my Jet-Hot long tubes with a cutout just after the y. My question is if i tune my car to get the correct A/F for the headers. Will the A/F still be correct when I open the cutout? Or will this also make me run rich? I'm sure this question has been asked many times but i did a search and couldn't find anything. Thanks for your help.

I believe it will make you lean if anything, but after a 12pack tonight, I'm sure someone knows better then I. Just figuried I'd reply. I hate when know one replies to my posts.

No. I dyno tested this at MTI. The mixture was the same whether the cuttout was open or not. The MAF sensor does it's job pretty well.

I am not sure if it is because of the cutout or not, but i got springs installed on my car and when it was up on the lift I noticed there is a buttload of carbon build up around my cutout and I'm running very rich. I have a HPP3, so maybe that has something to do with it, but I'm not sure why I'm so rich.
