Header Options
While lurking the boards as I oftenly do, I've found that most are running Kook's longtube headers. I've also found some running Pacesetters and SLP headers. Are there any other options out there?
I know SLP's headers had clearence issues, but the new design is supposed to solve that.
Also, I'm not sure that I want longtube headers on my car. I hardly ever run the car above 3K rpms, so longtubes may be as useful for me as a set of mid-length (tuned length). What my options there?
And before it is said, I've been using the search button.
Thanks in advance.

i have jethot coated (same as hooker) and i'm very happy with ground clearance and they still look brand new! i dont know the diff if stainless steel is better. i've seen TPIS which look great but cost more. $$$$. plenty of people on the board seem happy with coated pacesetters but i've never seen them. (lowest cost option). just my 2 cents

Well I got tha redesigned SLP LTs on my ride and tha clearence issues with them are no more. Even tha installation wasn't a pain in tha *** either. I like them alot. I understand SLP is still sellin tha first headers they made. The new headers make more power in mid to upper rpm range while tha original makes power in tha low to mid range. It depends on what application to want to have.

Installed Dynatech LT's,plugs, wires and tune and it really woke the car up . Mr. Z did the tune and adjusted my shift points and it pulls hard begging for a stall. Overall I am happy. It sounds good through the Magnaflow muffler and ground clearance is good.
